Director, Women’s Business Development
“PNC teamed up with Coralus to amplify its radically different approach to funding women entrepreneurs and together we’re making an impact in the U.S. With more than 50 PNC employee Activators, 100 gifted Activators and awareness among more than 5,000 PNC-Certified Women’s Business Advocates, we referred about 25% of Venture applications in 2022 and Activators ultimately selected one of our referrals, Neighborly Hands in Chicago. Our collaboration with Coralus is joyful, and, more importantly, we’re making a positive difference for women that resonates in our communities coast to coast.”

“You taught me that I don’t have to try to fit my vision into the current system. I could imagine and build a better way. I didn’t need to fight for my seat at the table; I could flip and reset the table.“
In the beginning, it looked like it was about money.
We started with the words and structures we inherited. And realised there was more to it.
We increased access where it was lacking
Originally, SheEO was an experiment in more equitable funding for women and nonbinary folks.
An abundance of social capital emerges
From that effort spilled out a wealth of resources and a foundation of trust—gifts from individuals to the collective.
A maturing economic model. A thriving collective.
As these flows continue, the collective has gathered wisdom and experience to be shared and amplified.
Sharing a vision for the future today
Other communities are coming in to iterate on this model and pave the way to a new world.
Here’s what generosity looks like
We practice generosity for our individual and collective healing and transformation. When we examine the mindsets and biases we have inherited, we give ourselves the gift of a new beginning; fertile ground to tend to a new inheritance.
Sharing our gifts
When we contribute to the common good without expectation of individual return, we nurture our interconnectedness and share in the harvest. Simple. And kinda magic.
Coralus has evolved as an intentional space for gestures, projects, and experiments with generosity and trust in the process at the centre.
Building a bigger tent
Spaces can be tended to so they expand. As we invite yet more diverse voices and communities to join this joyful experiment, we get to see it build on itself.
